The Trojans led 10-0 before Campbell reached the end zone, with Hajj-Malik Williams hitting Caleb Snead over the middle for a 16-yard score, the first career TD pass for the CU freshman. The touchdown was set up by a Troy fumble on a punt return, stripped by Monchovia Gaffney and covered by Julian Hill.

Williams and Snead connected again with 8:35 to go in the fourth quarter, a 30-yard heave that cut the Troy lead to 36-14. BK Billingsley added the game’s final score for the Trojans with 6:01 to play with a 38-yard TD run.

The Camels will make their 2019 home debut next week, hosting Shaw at Barker-Lane Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7.
