Helene Alters NC College Football Schedule



The wrath of Hurricane Helene has led to the postponement and cancellation of several college football games across North Carolina. Boone, the home of Appalachian State, experienced significant flooding and hazardous conditions, making it unsafe for the game to proceed. Davidson at Presbyterian: The football game between Davidson and Presbyterian, originally scheduled for September 28, has been postponed to September 29 due to the severe weather conditions brought by Hurricane Helene. The game will now take place at Davidson College Stadium, with kickoff set for 5:00 PM ET. This change was made to ensure the safety of players, staff, and fans as the hurricane impacts the region. Admission to the game will be FREE.
